Dropped $200 on a cheap metal detector at a flea market in Tulsa and it actually paid off
Bought a used Bounty Hunter Tracker IV for $200 at a flea market in Tulsa about 15 years back, mostly as a joke. Took it to an old farm field near Catoosa and dug up a civil war era button and a silver dime within a week. Now everyone I know has a $1200 detector with GPS and I still wonder if all that tech really finds more stuff. Anyone here started cheap and stayed cheap?
