Field notes on a $2 clipboard changed how I log digs
Lost three seasons of unit records to spiral notebooks falling apart in the rain. Picked up a hard plastic clipboard with a latch at an office supply store in Tucson, now my waterproof paper stays dry and the binder clip holds my trowel. Anyone else got a cheap gear hack that saved their documentation?

Used to swear by those leather field journals till a plastic binder saved my whole crew's notes last season.
