Paid $80 for a ground penetrating radar scan on my property before digging a fence line

Found an old cistern from the 1800s three feet down that would have swallowed my post hole digger whole, has anyone else hit something unexpected with one of those?

$80 seems cheap for a GPR scan. Did the operator give you any other targets you skipped or avoided?

Cheap definitely describes what I got for my money. I paid $80 and the guy just waved the machine around for 10 minutes, told me nothing was there, and left. Guess I got exactly what I paid for, no hidden treasure and no hidden fees.
