PSA: stopped buying rolled vinyl for my craft table, now I hit the ReStore for leftover flooring scraps
For 2 years I kept a roll of that $30 adhesive vinyl on my table for cutting mats and stencils. It curled at the edges, bubbled when my glue gun got near it, and slid around on every project. Switched to leftover vinyl plank scraps I grab for a buck a piece at the ReStore on Grand Ave. Cut it with the same utility knife, glue sticks to it, and a 3 foot piece is flat as glass because it was made to lay on a floor. Whole box of scraps ran me $8 and it outlasts anything from the craft aisle. Anyone else raiding the ReStore or a job site dumpster for their craft bench?
