Vent: spent 6 hours knitting a colorwork hat and my dog ate the whole cuff in 5 minutes
It was the best knitting week I've had in months, perfect tension on the floats, then Tuesday happened, so does anyone actually keep their WIPs in a closed bin or am I just asking to lose another one?

Ugh, been there. My beagle got a whole sleeve off the couch last winter and I didn't even hear her do it. Now everything lives in those plastic bins with the snap lids, the ones from the hardware store for like 8 bucks, not the fancy craft store ones. Bonus is the yarn stays dust free and the cats can't knead it into a hairball. Just make sure the lid actually clicks or your dog will figure out the hinge trick in about a week. Losing a cuff you nailed the floats on though, that one stings.
