Appreciation post: Hand lettering vs digital fonts for wedding signs

I did all my cousin's wedding signs by hand last month instead of using a Cricut. The hand lettered ones had way more character and people kept stopping to take pictures. Anyone else find that handmade stuff just hits different for events?

Hand lettering always looks more personal, my sister's wedding had those too.

My neighbor dropped off a loaf of homemade bread last week and it got me thinking about this same thing. Handwritten cards, handmixed cocktails, even people who still handwrite their grocery lists instead of using phone notes. There's this quiet shift happening where people are starting to crave things that feel human again, especially when everything else is mass produced and digital. Your cousin's signs probably stood out because they had that one tiny imperfection in each letter that made them feel real instead of perfect.
