Hit 500,000 miles on my 2003 Tacoma last Tuesday while grabbing tacos in Austin
I was just sitting in the drive-thru line at Torchy's when the odometer rolled over, and the guy behind me honked and yelled 'hell yeah' out his window. Has anyone else had a random stranger celebrate your car's milestone with you?

That's 500k miles, not 500,000. Just being picky but hey, it's a big deal either way. 2003 Tacoma is legendary for that kind of life, especially if it's the 4 cylinder. I had a 2001 that hit 400k before I sold it to a guy who still drives it. You got lucky with that stranger, most people in Austin just honk to curse at you for taking too long at the drive thru. Did you get a picture of the odometer when it flipped?
