PSA: dropped $900 on a used pressure washer for my driveway, and honestly I cant tell if it saved me or scammed me
Spent $900 on a used 4000 psi unit last month after a guy on Facebook Marketplace in Reno swore it would strip years of grime off my concrete in one weekend. Turns out it blasted half the paint off my garage door and now I owe a painter $600, but the driveway does look brand new. So do I call this a win or should I have just rented one for $70 a day?
Learned this same lesson with a $200 bread maker that was supposed to fix my whole morning routine, and now it just sits there taking up counter space while I buy bread at the store like a chump. Buying stuff feels like solving the problem, but then you gotta learn how to actually use it or pay someone to clean up the mess. At least your driveway looks good, that painter bill is just the hidden fee nobody warns you about.
