Serious question, I asked a stranger at a Denver bus stop for directions and she walked me 4 blocks instead

I was trying to find a dentist office on 16th and she just said follow me. Talked the whole way about her son in the Navy. I made my appointment and she waved and kept walking. Do strangers in your city do stuff like that or was I just lucky?
