Why does a random Tuesday in November hit better than any holiday?

Last month I spent the whole day painting trim in a empty house, my crew called in sick one by one, so I just put on a podcast and worked until sunset with zero interruptions. By 6 pm the light was perfect and I realized I hadnt felt rushed or annoyed once all day. Has anyone else had a completely ordinary day that secretly became their favorite memory of the year?
