Paper maps beat GPS in downtown Charleston every single time
Got turned around for 40 minutes near the Battery last Saturday. GPS kept rerouting me down one-way streets. Pulled over, bought a $3 paper map from a gas station on Meeting Street. Found the parking garage in 5 minutes. Something about seeing the whole grid at once just clicks. Anyone else keep a real map in the car for old cities like Boston or New Orleans?
