Showerthought: I saved $2,400 in 8 months by canceling every subscription I forgot I had, but now I miss my audiobooks
Last week I finally added up all the little charges on my card and it came to $2,400 over 8 months. I had 11 subscriptions I never used, like a language app from 2021 and two streaming services I forgot about. I canceled all of them and felt great for about three days. Then I realized I lost my audiobook app too and now my commute in Chicago feels twice as long. So my question is, do you all keep a couple of subs you barely use just for the comfort, or is it cancel everything and never look back?
