TIL my phone autocorrect saved me from a bad job quote
I was at the Post Office break room last Tuesday texting a guy about fixing my gutters. Typed 'I can pay you $200' but my phone changed it to '$1200' before I hit send. Caught it just in time. Has anyone else had autocorrect almost cost them real money?

Did you really dodge a bullet though or was your phone just being optimistic about your budget lol?

Ha, yeah you might be onto something there @anderson.gavin! It's funny how we always talk about dodging bullets but never consider that maybe our phone's just trying to keep us from living beyond our means. I've noticed that pattern a lot lately - like how people say their car "saved them from a bad decision" when really they just couldn't find parking and gave up. Same thing with relationships too, I guess. Sometimes a "bullet dodged" is just life being cheap with us instead of actually dangerous.
