Took me 2 years to fix a leaky pipe, was it really that hard?
I moved into a place in Columbus and the bathroom sink dripped from day one, figured it was a quick washer swap. Turns out the shutoff valve was stripped and the pipe threads were corroded, so I spent every weekend for two months just trying to get the damn thing apart. Finally hired a plumber who fixed it in 40 minutes, so my question is this: do we just overcomplicate home repairs out of stubbornness, or is it actually smarter to call a pro from the start?

Would you rather pay $200 once or waste 2 years of your life?
