Finally captured the Andromeda Galaxy after 3 cloudy months

Last week I dragged my scope out to a dark spot near Flagstaff and got a 90 second exposure that actually showed the dust lanes. I'd been trying since early fall but every weekend the sky was either hazy or the moon was too bright. Seeing it pop up on my laptop screen at 2am made all the frozen fingers worth it. Has anyone else had luck shooting galaxies with a basic DSLR on a tracking mount, or am I pushing the gear too far?
