Got my first clear shot of M31 from my backyard in Ohio, finally after 9 tries

I've been trying to capture Andromeda from my driveway since spring. Light pollution is rough here, plus the neighbors' floodlights kept ruining my exposures. Last Tuesday the sky was finally cooperative. Used my 8 inch Dobsonian and a borrowed DSLR, stacked about 40 frames in DeepSkyStacker. Nothing fancy, but you can actually see the dust lanes. That felt huge. Does anyone else have a spot where they keep going back to even though the conditions are never perfect?
