I spent $80 on a lunar calendar app that didn't even show moon phases right
Downloaded this fancy astronomy app that claimed to have real-time lunar tracking, but it kept showing the moon as full when it was clearly a crescent outside my window. I messaged the developer three times and got nothing back. Has anyone found a decent moon phase app that actually works?

Lemme tell you about the time I bought a "professional grade" moon app for $50 and it just showed me a stock photo of the moon from 1999. I swear I spent a whole night trying to align it with my window view and ended up just staring at the sky like an idiot with my phone held up. That developer situation is rough though, I get how frustrating it is to get ghosted after spending money. Honestly I just use the free weather app now because my expectations are basically ZERO since that experience.

Tried a few paid ones and they all sucked. @benflores hit the nail on the head with that stock photo story, that's exactly the kind of junk I ran into.
Just use the free weather channel app or google "moon phase today" and call it done. Saves you the headache and the $80.
