Scope mount failed during the Orion nebula shot last Tuesday night
Honestly I was 45 minutes into stacking frames and the whole rig just sagged. The dovetail bar slipped because I didn't tighten the screws enough after switching cameras. Lost all those sub exposures. Tbh I sat there for a minute staring at the laptop screen feeling stupid. Then I just grabbed my allen key set and cranked everything down proper. Has anyone else had a mount slip ruin a night of imaging?
