I finally checked my attic insulation after 3 years in Decatur

Went up there last weekend and found barely 4 inches of pink stuff when it should be closer to 16. My AC has been running nonstop every summer and now I know why. Anyone else had their energy bill drop after adding more?

Found the same thing in my place near the square. Landlord said it was fine but my bill was brutal. Threw some rolls up there myself and next month it dropped like 50 bucks. Crazy what a difference it makes.

Did you notice a big temp difference up there too @the_julia or was it just the bill that tipped you off?
