My 1970s Decatur ranch went from a $340 July power bill to $180 after one attic fix
Had a guy crawl up in the attic off Scott Blvd and he showed me the old insulation was basically pancake flat, maybe R-8 at best, so we blew in new stuff two weeks ago. Bill dropped almost $160 in one cycle, but now I'm wondering if I should've done the air sealing myself first. Anybody here tackle their own ducts and regret it?
