The old electrician who showed up at 7am on a Saturday
Found a handwritten note taped to my breaker panel from the guy who wired this house in 1982 - he included his phone number in case I ever had issues. When I called him last month about a flickering light, he talked me through the fix over the phone in 10 minutes flat.

Oh wow, that's such a bold move! @kim_martin I think that's way better than leaving without saying anything. I remember once a guy handed me his number on a napkin at a coffee shop, but then he stayed and hovered around my table for like ten minutes. It got so awkward I pretended to get a phone call and dipped out. At least getting the actual number feels more straightforward, even if it's a little scary. You can always decide later if you want to call or not.
