Appreciation post: A guy at the gas pump said something about his sled that stuck with me
I was filling up my quad last weekend in Grand Marais and the guy next to me was gassing his old Polaris Indy. He said he's put over 8,000 miles on it and only ever replaced the drive belt once. He said the secret is just letting the machine warm up for a solid five minutes before you even touch the throttle, no matter how cold it is. I always rush that part when I'm eager to get out on the trail. It made me think about how a simple habit can save a ton of money and hassle on parts. Has anyone else found a basic routine that really extends the life of their ride?

Wait, you're telling me the guy was out here walking around with a loose belt and acting like that's not gonna end badly? That's like asking for your pants to start a conversation with the floor.
