Blew a belt on my Polaris 450 miles from home last Saturday near Moab
I was climbing this rocky trail about 30 miles outside Moab when the belt just shredded. No warning, just a bang and then nothing but revving. I had a spare belt but no tools to change it because I left my kit in the truck that morning. Which way would you go if it happened to you, hike 4 hours back to the truck or try to flag down another rider on the trail?

Waited to flag someone down with no tools? Bro that's brutal, I would've just hiked it and come back with my kit rather than risk getting stranded overnight.

Man it's crazy how this whole thing mirrors real life, you know? Everyone's in such a rush to fix problems with the wrong tools or no plan at all, just hoping a solution will magically appear. Better to slow down and do it right the first time than to panic and make a bad situation worse.
