Bought a cheap plow mount for my quad and it bent on the first real snow in Buffalo

Lost about $150 and a whole afternoon fixing my bumper after it gave out. Anyone know a solid brand for a 500cc machine that can handle lake effect snow?

Cheap mounts are a false economy up here. You need a frame-mounted kit, not one that bolts to the bumper. Look at companies that build for commercial use, like Warn or Kolpin. They cost more but won't fold on you.

robert_rodriguez66 isn't wrong, it's a brutal lesson. Saw a neighbor's cheap plow snap right off the mount last year. Bumper mounts just can't handle the stress if you hit ice or a frozen bank. You really do get what you pay for with this stuff. Saving a few bucks upfront costs way more when it breaks.
