Finally got my old sled's carb jetting dialed in after a cold morning in Duluth

Everyone keeps saying to just richen the main jet for winter, but that misses the pilot circuit entirely. My '98 Polaris was bogging hard until I went two sizes up on the pilot and adjusted the air screw a half-turn out. Anyone else find the pilot jet is the real key for crisp cold starts?

Yeah, I actually focus on the main jet first, like @olivert18 mentioned. A bigger pilot helps, but if the main is too lean, you'll still lose power up top in that deep cold. Getting that right made the biggest difference for my old Ski-Doo.

Forgot how much that pilot circuit matters in the cold.
