PSA: Side-by-side vs tracked ATV in deep snow? Not even close.
Took my buddy's Polaris RZR out to some trails near Duluth last weekend and got stuck three times in two hours. Swapped over to my old '06 Bombardier with tracks and cruised right through the same drifts. Am I missing something or are wheels just useless once the powder gets past 18 inches?

Hey, careful there. You're gonna hurt the feelings of all those guys who spent $20k on a RZR with beadlock wheels and LED light bars just to look cool at the gas station. Next thing you know they'll have to admit that tracks actually float instead of just digging straight to China. But hey, at least your buddy got some nice exercise shoveling the snow out from under his tires three times, right? Sounds like a solid upper body workout to me.

Isn't that how everything works though? You show up with the right tool for the job and suddenly everyone who was struggling looks silly. It's like trying to cut a pizza with a butter knife when you've got a roller right there. People love to push gear that looks cool but doesn't actually work when things get real. I've seen guys show up to a muddy field with brand new all-terrain tires and then spend an hour watching my neighbor's old farm truck with bald tires just truck through it. Sometimes the simple answer that's been around forever wins because it was built for the actual problem, not for looking good on a shelf.

Brought my granddad's old steel shovel once while my buddy (you know who, @richard_sanchez43) had a fancy collapsible one. His broke after five scoops, mine didn't even bend. Simple and ugly wins every time.
