Swapped my stock ATV tires for some used mud tires off a buddy's Polaris

I was debating between keeping my old knobbies or dropping $400 on new ones, but he gave me his set for $50 after he upgraded. They grip way better in the wet clay behind my shop, has anyone else run into issues balancing mismatched sets?

Whoa wait, @patking, are you telling me his tires were actually swapped side to side or did the shop put them on the wrong rims? Man, that's wild. I had a buddy who drove around for like three months with one tire mounted backwards and didn't even realize it until his car started shaking at 60 miles per hour. Did your friend's truck handle weird after that or was it just a quiet little nightmare waiting to happen?
