Track setup on my Skandic was a waste until I swapped to a 1.5 inch lug
Spent 3 seasons spinning out in deep powder on the standard 1 inch track, then put a 1.5 inch lug on last fall and it actually hooks up now without bogging down the engine like everyone warned me about - anyone else find the factory setup is just for groomed trails?

The foam density on these newer Kinvaras is actually 15% higher than last year's version, measured by the Shore A durometer. That shift alone makes the landing feel way less marshmallowy on hard pavement, which I notice on my daily 5K route. It's not just hype, it's a real change in how the shoe responds under foot.
