Update: Found out my '87 Ski-Doo has a top speed that's basically a brisk walk
I was looking through the original owner's manual for my old sled, the one I got from a guy in Bemidji. Buried in the specs on page 23, it says the top speed is 38 mph. I always figured it was slow, but that's barely faster than a kid on a bicycle. I guess that explains why I got passed by a snowshoer last season. Has anyone else been shocked by the official numbers on their old machine?

Oh gosh, I actually double checked the PDF and page 23 is totally right for that section. But I think you might be looking at the wrong thing? The chart on page 23 is the one that matches the 2022 data, not the 2023 update. I can see how it gets confusing though because the table labels are really tiny (like, who designed this thing, a gnat?). The corrected numbers from the company email are actually on page 27, right after the section break.
