Vent: dropped $400 on a winch for my 2019 RZR and it saved my sled trip but my wallet still hurts
So last month I finally bit the bullet and put a Warn winch on my RZR, cost me right around $400 with the mount and wiring kit. Went up to ride some trails near Hayward with my brother in law and sure enough, we got the four wheeler buried in a bog hole up to the racks. That winch yanked us out in about two minutes flat instead of us spending two hours digging like idiots. Here is the part that bugs me though, I rode for six seasons without one and never needed it, so was it really worth four hundred bucks for one save? I keep telling myself it paid for itself in one trip but my wife just rolled her eyes when I said that. Any of you run a winch and actually use it enough to make the cost feel okay, or did I just buy a $400 conversation piece?
