A sedan's steering pull revealed my biggest repair flaw

I always rushed frame inspections on smaller jobs to get cars out faster. A recent repair on a compact car seemed fine at first. When the owner reported a constant pull to the left, we put it on the rack. The numbers showed a slight bend in the rear section we missed. Fixing it meant redoing the whole rear end alignment. I lost a full day of work and paid for it myself. Now, no job leaves my bay without a full frame measure.

Was it actually dangerous or just annoying to drive? A little pull happens sometimes with older cars. Not sure the full fix was really needed.

Doesn't it always seem like the small stuff we skip comes back to bite us? The missed frame check is a perfect example. @riverm48, you wondered if the fix was needed, but a constant pull isn't just annoying, it's a safety risk over time. I notice this pattern everywhere, from ignoring a leaky faucet to speeding through work reports. Those little oversights turn into huge headaches that cost more to fix. Now I double-check everything, no matter how small the job.
