Appreciation post: Getting paint feathering down cut my rework in half
I was always upset about how my paint blends had obvious lines. It looked cheap, and I knew it was my fault. Then I watched a guy at a shop sand with a different motion. He used big, soft sweeps instead of going back and forth. I tried it on a sedan roof and the color melted together perfectly. Now I do it on every job, and I don't have to fix things as much. That one change made a huge difference for me.
