Got a 2008 Civic's quarter panel to line up perfect after heating the edge with a torch for 30 seconds
The metal was just a bit springy from an old repair, and a quick heat pass let me tweak it into place without cracking the filler. Anyone else use heat on stubborn panels?

Honestly, @kim_hart7 that moment of relief is basically the highlight of my week sometimes. Ngl, the other day I tried to sneak an extra snack past my kid and felt like a genius when it worked. Then I realized I was just proud of outsmarting a 5 year old. So yeah, "trick" might be a gentle way to put it, but I'm counting it as a win.
