Hit 200 frame pulls this year, that number caught me off guard

I was going through my job log last night for the insurance audit and counted up all the frame pulls I've done since January. Two hundred on the nose. That felt like a lot for a two man shop in Springfield, especially since I can only do about three a week when things go smooth. The part that surprised me is how many were on newer cars with unibody construction, not the old body-on-frame trucks I learned on. I had to buy a second set of pull clamps just to keep up with the different anchor points. My shoulder is definitely feeling it too, I'm scheduling a chiro visit for next Tuesday. Has anyone else tracked their pull count and got a wakeup call about their workload or body wear?

Pulling the insurance angle sideways, I bet your rate per pull hasnt changed in five years but your liability has, those new unibody cars fold like paper compared to old frames and the repair specs are way tighter now. Thats the real wakeup call, not just the count, because one bad pull on a crumple zone thats supposed to absorb impact in the next crash means that car is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I did a few unibody jobs back in 2019 and the manufacturers want you to measure everything to the millimeter, plus they have specific pull points that change per model year. If you arent checking the OEM procedure every single time, that 200 number is less about your shoulder and more about the hidden risk youre stacking up. Chiro is smart but also think about investing in a laser measuring system before you bank on another 200 next year.
