PSA: Check your weld wire feed rollers before a big job
My feed roller seized up mid-weld on a 2018 F-150 door skin yesterday. Cost me 2 hours of grinding out bird nests and replacing a $110 part. Has anyone else had a roller just lock up out of nowhere?

Man that exact same thing happened to me on a Chevy rear quarter panel last month, total nightmare.

Read somewhere that dust and metal shavings from grinding can work their way into the roller over time. Might be worth pulling the cover and giving it a blast with compressed air before starting a big weld. Pro Tip: keep a spare set of rollers in your toolbox, saved me more than once.
