Swapped my cheap DA sander for a quality one, night and day on this Civic
Used to fight with a $60 sander that vibrated my hands numb and left swirl marks no matter how careful I was. Took me twice as long on a rear quarter panel last summer because I kept having to respot and rework the feathered edges. Finally shelled out $280 for a proper dual action sander with a longer throw and adjustable speed. Same job on a Civic this week took me one afternoon instead of two days, and the primer laid down flat without me chasing holograms. Anyone else make a similar jump and realize they were fooling themselves thinking cheap tools were fine?

Pays off to learn that lesson once, then you never cheap out again. Same with tires, batteries, and almost everything else that keeps you safe or saves your time.
