Switched from a grinder to a cut-off wheel for quarter panels and it's a game changer

I used to spend hours with a grinder and a hammer trying to get the old metal off, making a huge mess and risking heat damage. After a job on a '98 Silverado last month where I warped the panel, I grabbed a Milwaukee cut-off wheel. It sliced through the spot welds in maybe 20 minutes flat, left a clean edge, and saved my back. Anyone else made this switch and found a better tool for a common job?

Honestly, the real win is the cleanup. You aren't left with a mountain of shredded metal shavings everywhere. It just falls away in clean pieces.

But is it really that big of a deal?

Man, that reminds me of the time I tried using tin snips on a fender.
