Vent: A hail storm in Denver wrecked my workflow

We got hit with that big hail storm last spring, and the shop was flooded with over 40 dent repair jobs in two days. I had to stop my usual panel replacement work and just focus on PDR for a solid week. Has anyone else had to completely switch gears like that because of a weather event?

Oh man, that's the worst. We had a microburst a few years back that took out a whole neighborhood of fences. Suddenly my whole crew was just setting posts and hanging pickets for two weeks straight. All the deck builds and pergola jobs got pushed back. It's crazy how one storm can just delete your schedule and hand you a whole new one. You just have to roll with it and hope the regular clients understand.
