A customer in Tucson told me his old truck 'just needed a friend' to fix it
He said that after I spent two hours chasing a bad ground that was causing his no-start, and honestly it made the whole frustrating job feel different. Anyone ever have a customer say something that just stuck with you like that?

Nah, I get where you're coming from, but sometimes people just don't know how to explain a weird noise. My neighbor said his truck was "singing a sad song" and it turned out to be a real, simple brake issue. They're not always scheming, just bad at describing car sounds.

That's a sweet way to look at it, honestly. My customers just tell me their car is possessed and then ask for a discount.
