Can we talk about how easy brakes used to be before all this electronic junk?

My 2014 F150 threw a code for the brake controller module last Tuesday and it took me three days to sort out a simple pad swap. I miss the days when you could just pop off the calipers and go without having to recalibrate everything with a scan tool. Has anyone else run into modules that just decide to fail for no good reason?

lol right, I swear my truck's brake module has more anxiety about dying than I do.

Used to think all that brake module stuff was just a gimmick until my 2016 Ram did the same thing. Had to borrow a buddy's Autel just to get the parking brake to release after a rotor change. Now I see why guys with older trucks laugh at us chasing ghosts.
