Holding the brake pedal down while cracking the bleeder finally got the air out of my Silverado
Fought a spongy pedal on my 2008 Silverado for two weekends. Vacuum bleeder, gravity bleed, nothing worked. Then a guy at the parts counter in Amarillo said to have a buddy hold steady pressure on the pedal while I crack each bleeder, and it pushed a big bubble out of the rear passenger side in about 5 seconds. Anyone else had a truck that only burps with the pedal method?
