Rant: Spent 2 hours on a brake job that used to take me 45 minutes

Switched to a new brand of rotors last month and the damn bolts were seized worse than anything I've seen in 10 years. Has anyone else noticed quality going downhill on basic parts lately?

Wait a weekend? The whole thing? That's crazy talk man... I've done brakes in an afternoon before but a whole weekend sounds like something went real wrong. Did you snap a bleeder valve or something? Those are the worst when they seize up and you gotta drill them out. I remember my buddy tried to rush through his brake job and ended up rounding off a caliper bracket bolt... had to cut the whole thing off with a sawzall. That's the kind of stuff that turns a quick job into a nightmare weekend for sure.
