Shoutout to the tech who called me out on using too much anti-seize
I used to glob anti-seize on every spark plug like it was going out of style. Then a master tech at a shop in Denver pulled me aside and said I was actually causing misfires by getting it on the electrode. He showed me how a tiny smear on the threads only is all you need. Has anyone else had to unlearn a bad habit from a seasoned mechanic?

Read a tip online once that said anti-seize on spark plugs can mess with the torque spec. Had a buddy who overtightened his plugs because the anti-seize made it feel loose. Ended up stripping the threads in the head. Real pain to fix. Now I only use a tiny dab like the guy told you.
