Spent $60 on a 3D printed sunroof drain cleaner and it paid for itself on the first job

I do a lot of sunroof drain cleanouts on German cars and I got tired of using weed whacker line and compressed air. A buddy told me about these special cleaning tools people 3D print that are basically long flexible rods with a brush on the end. I ordered one off Etsy for $60 and it showed up in a few days. First job was a 2017 Audi Q5 with clogged rear drains that was soaking the headliner. That tool snaked right through the grommet and pulled out all the crud without me having to take apart half the interior. Usually I would bill 2 hours for that job but I did it in 45 minutes flat. Has anyone else tried these printed tools or do you still use the old fishing line trick?

The right tool changing a whole job is like that. Same thing happened to me with a pair of Knipex pliers. You buy one good thing and suddenly you wonder why you suffered so long with the old method.

Weed whacker line has never let me down and costs about 12 cents a foot, not exactly seeing the crisis here.
