Still see guys using penetrating oil on rusted exhaust bolts like it's magic

I was under a 2008 F-150 last week and watched another mechanic soak a manifold bolt with PB Blaster for 15 minutes before even touching a wrench. It snapped clean off at the head, same as always. Does anyone else just go straight to the torch for anything that's been through more than two winters?

Stick a torch on it and move on with your day. People treat penetrating oil like it's gonna somehow un-rust metal that's been fused for a decade. It's the same mindset as folks who buy those magnetic fuel savers or put premium gas in a Corolla hoping for 50 more horsepower.
