Finally got that intermittent autopilot fault on a King Air to show itself after three days of chasing.
It was a corroded pin in the back of the avionics bay that only acted up when the airframe flexed on the ground. Anyone have a better method for checking those hard-to-reach cannon plugs besides just wiggling everything?

Chasing a gremlin like that reminds me of my old car's electrical issues. It's always the last connection you check, after you've already replaced half the system. Modern tech is amazing, but it still comes down to a speck of rust on a tiny piece of metal.

Right? My old laptop would blue screen once a week. I spent months thinking it was the RAM or the hard drive. Turns out it was just a single bent pin in the charger port, so the battery would drain and crash the system. Felt so dumb after buying all those new parts for nothing.
