Had one of those days where every connector fought back

Last Tuesday I was troubleshooting a Garmin G1000 backup issue on a Cessna 172 at KAPA. Every single D-sub connector I touched had a pin that refused to seat or a backshell that stripped. By 3pm I had fixed the problem (loose ground in the radio stack) but it took me twice as long as normal. Anyone else have weeks where the plane just seems to fight you on every little thing?

Oh man, that sounds like a TOTAL nightmare of a day. Those D-sub connectors are the WORST when they decide to be stubborn, especially in a tight radio stack where you can barely see what you're doing. I've had weeks where I swear the plane is actively TRYING to waste my time, like when a simple broken wire turns into chasing a ghost through the entire avionics bay. It's ALWAYS the little stuff that fights back the hardest, right? Hope the rest of your week is way smoother, keep at it.
