Hot take: I stopped pulling cannon plugs at the harness and my wire repairs got way cleaner
Back in 2019 working the C-check line at a hangar in Wichita, I watched a senior guy do a connector repin with the plug still clamped to the bracket, and it blew my mind how much less he fought the wire. I had been unhooking the whole run for years out of habit, and half my pigtail damage came from me wrestling plugs loose that never needed to move. Last month I did an entire aft galley harness swap that way and finished about 3 hours early. Anybody else depin in place or is that asking for a bent contact around here?
