Just read that the average 737 MAX has over 4 miles of wiring in its avionics systems

Found that in an old FAA maintenance bulletin from 2021. Anyone ever had to trace a fault through a section that long?

What kind of fault takes you that deep into the harness?

My buddy at Delta had a phantom voltage drop on a 737. They spent three days checking connections before finding a single pinched wire behind the galley. Said it felt like looking for a needle in a stack of needles.

I mean, ryan_taylor24, that's just how it goes with hidden problems, you fix the obvious stuff first and the real cause is always last.
