Rant: I was sure the new fiber optic cleaning kits were overpriced snake oil.
After a stubborn intermittent fault on a Garmin G5000, I tried one and it fixed a connector issue my old wipes missed completely. Anyone have a cheaper brand that actually works on those tiny avionics ports?

I used to agree with you, but a similar kit saved me last month.

Totally get that. I had a basic kit in my car that got me through a flat tire in the rain last year. Felt like a lifesaver.
